Synopsis
Workers in a Virginia factory assemble and fabricate products during their shifts. The eight-hour documentary "Park Lanes," directed by Kevin Everson, captures their daily routines using a 'shift-film' technique. Mobile and fixed cameras record the entire workday from clock-in to clock-out. The film presents the physicality of labor and reflects on the experiences of the workers within their roles in the labor force. It runs for 480 minutes and was released in 2015.
