Synopsis
In Bailu town, the Shangshu Seminary, a structure built by French Catholic missionaries, collapsed during the 8-magnitude Wenchuan earthquake on May 12, 2008. Tang Min, a parishioner with deep roots in the community, faced a personal tragedy when his wife and daughter were killed by his neighbor's family amid disputes over rebuilding efforts. Six years later, the seminary has been reconstructed, and Tang Min has remarried and welcomed a new daughter, signaling a return to normalcy in his life and the town.
