Synopsis

Under the scorching sun of Kirkuk, Haibat and her six grandchildren labor to construct tandoor ovens. Despite their hard work, they struggle to find enough bread to eat. Haibat's son succumbed to depression and died, a victim of the pervasive poverty and lack of job opportunities in the city. Kirkuk, known for its vast oil reserves, presents a stark contrast to the daily hardships faced by Haibat's family as they attempt to survive in a city rich in resources yet lacking in basic necessities.
