Synopsis
Mosul's streets are filled with children left to survive alone after the battle against ISIS. Iraq's Lost Generation follows approximately one hundred thousand orphans and the so-called 'children of ISIS,' whose families pledged allegiance to the caliphate. Many lack legal recognition, denying them access to education, medical care, and food assistance. Following ISIS's defeat, these children are often held in camps with radicalized women, facing dire sanitary and humanitarian conditions exacerbated by the Covid-19 crisis.
