Synopsis

Pyramiden, a ghost town in the Arctic, serves as the backdrop for Derek Coté's film, Bardo. After a brief visit in 2012, Coté returned in July 2014 for a fourteen-day expedition. He aims to recreate the final moments of the town before its evacuation. The film documents artifacts left behind, capturing their significance as they remain in abandoned spaces. A soundtrack performed on the northernmost 'Red October' grand piano adds emotional depth to the visual narrative of this unique location.
