Synopsis
In the summer of 1994, seven Cubans prepared to escape their homeland by constructing homemade rafts to reach the United States. Six of them were intercepted by the U.S. Coast Guard and eventually resettled in various cities across the country. Seven years later, the original film crew revisited these balseros to explore their lives and experiences as they navigated the challenges of adapting to a new culture while reflecting on their past in Cuba.
