Synopsis
Bob Lush prepares for the 1980 Observer Singlehanded Transatlantic Race in Falmouth, where he will sail his modified 25-foot shark. Alongside him is Mike Birch, an experienced sailor readying his 46-foot tri-maran. Both men face the challenges of solo sailing across 3,000 miles of open ocean. Lush completes the race in 39 days, finishing one day faster than the inaugural winner, Howard Blackburn.
