Synopsis
Florence performs daily rituals in her home on Providence Island, connecting with the land she inhabits. In Lourdes-de-Blanc-Sablon, Simonne welcomes guests and those in need into her home. Mireille, Florence’s daughter, expresses her commitment to staying in Tête-à-la-Baleine despite the decline in the fishing industry. Gédéon, an elderly fisherman, reflects on life through his imagination. The passenger freighter Nordik Express silently witnesses the relationships formed across the vast territory of the lower North Shore of the St. Lawrence.
