Synopsis

On the Lower North Shore of Quebec, communities face the challenges of isolation. Anglophone, francophone, and First Nations Innu people live in a land without roads. Each season brings unique difficulties, particularly in winter when snowmobiles become the only means of travel. For nearly a century, weekends are marked by hockey tournaments, carnivals, and dance nights across various villages. Many who left the area return for these events, knowing each visit could be their last. The documentary runs for 87 minutes and was released in 2018.
