Synopsis

In Suzhou, a middle-aged couple plays a game of "divorce" in their home. The man enjoys playing cards and often neglects family duties, while his wife manages household responsibilities despite her dissatisfaction. After she falls ill, he enters the kitchen to help. A letter from her youth rekindles old feelings. They confront their differences but ultimately choose to tolerate each other and continue their life together.
