Synopsis
Alberto Carlisky fled Argentina after his arrest in 1944 by the Perón regime due to his political views. He moved to Paris, where he apprenticed under the Russian Cubist sculptor Ossip Zadkine. After completing his training, Carlisky began to develop his own artistic style. This documentary covers significant moments in Carlisky’s life as he transitions from a political prisoner to a self-taught sculptor in Europe.
