Synopsis
Stanisław Szukalski, a Polish artist and self-taught sculptor, created a unique language and a body of work that was largely forgotten after a Nazi bombing raid destroyed much of it. Directed by Irek Dobrowolski, "Struggle: The Life and Lost Art of Szukalski" examines Szukalski's troubled life, including his nationalism and anti-Semitic views before World War II, and his later repentance. The film features interviews with Glenn Bray and George DiCaprio, who reflect on Szukalski's legacy and their personal connections to him.
