Synopsis

Hilda Spalviene sits in her home in Šakininkai village, reminiscing about her life. Born in the Klaipėda region, she lived in Germany before World War II. After the war, she was exiled to Siberia. Eventually, Hilda returned to Germany but chose to come back to Šakininkai, the land of her parents. She identifies as a local, determined to spend her final days in her childhood home. The film reflects on her experiences and the national identity of the Klaipėda region.
