Synopsis

Tarji's life shifts dramatically after the 8888 Uprising in Rangoon on August 8, 1988. His parents, both students involved in the protests, flee Burma and travel to Thailand via Koh Song Island in Ranong Province. They settle in southern Thailand, where they work to build a new life. The film follows Tarji and his mother, capturing their experiences and challenges as Tarji transitions from childhood to adulthood in a foreign land.
