Synopsis

Angus, a 12-year-old boy from Australia, returns to Mongolia with his family to compete in the Naadam horse race. He trains with local children and seeks guidance from experienced jockeys, including Dale, a 13-year-old who has retired from racing. The film follows Angus as he rides across the vast steppe, preparing for the race while immersing himself in Mongolian culture. As the event approaches, Angus faces challenges that test his determination and ambition, ultimately leading to a memorable summer and lasting connections.
