Synopsis
The Peul, or Fulani, inhabit the African Sahel and are known as "the Men of oxen." This documentary explores their culture alongside the Hoti Indians of Venezuela, a group of only 200 individuals living in the remote Parusito River region. In Mongolia, the Tsaatan nomads rely on reindeer in the harsh Taiga climate. The film also highlights the last strongholds of Aboriginal Australians, revealing their symbolic art as encrypted maps. Finally, the Khamba nomads, recognized by their black tents and yaks, practice deep spirituality at high altitudes in China.
