Synopsis

Elle Flanders interviews same-sex Palestinian-Israeli couples living under the strain of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The film documents their daily challenges, including work visa restrictions, checkpoints, and societal prejudice. Personal narratives reveal the couples' efforts to maintain their relationships amid these obstacles. Flanders also shares home movies from her grandparents, who were involved in the establishment of Israel. This archival footage provides context to her family's history and the region's ongoing issues.
