Synopsis
Inta Celmiņa and Edvards Grūbe purchased a house in Vidzeme at the end of the 1970s. During this time, individual homes were being destroyed in the Latvian countryside to consolidate residents into Soviet kolkhozs. The artists now split their time between Riga in the winter and their rural workshop in the summer. The film addresses traditional Latvian painting and the setting that inspires it.
