Synopsis

Kārlis, a boy from the Latvian countryside, begins his first school year amid the diverse experiences of his peers. Gleb reflects on his grandparents' immigration during the Soviet period, shaping his understanding of identity. Zane, a first-generation urban dweller, faces the challenges of city life. Anastasija's family moves from urban to rural settings, adapting to new circumstances. Anete's mother works in England, creating a unique family dynamic.
