China hosts one-tenth of the world's wetlands, showcasing a rich diversity of ecosystems and species. The episode highlights the finless porpoises and elks along the Yangtze River, as well as the unique fauna of southeastern mangroves, including egrets, fiddler crabs, and the ancient Chinese horseshoe crab.
