A blind director leads her theater group in an unusual role play. This collaborative experiment aims to address emotional turmoil and the nature of love. The group works together to process the director's broken heart. They confront physical limitations and the chaos of their surroundings. Set against a backdrop of societal unrest, "Weltschmerz" illustrates how art can function as a route to understanding and healing. Jesper Dalgaard directed the 30-minute documentary in Denmark in 2017.
