Synopsis
Elise and Nicole care for Vedette, a cow once named queen of the queens of the Alps. During the summer, they work to ensure she does not lose her title to younger rivals. As they tend to Vedette, their views shift, affecting their understanding of their community and environment. The film captures the bond between the two women and the aging cow against the backdrop of the Alpine setting. Directed by Claudine Bories, "Vedette" runs for 100 minutes.
