Synopsis
A helicopter flies over a desert, capturing scenes of farmers tending to their fields and children playing nearby. The sound of bells signals a call to prayer. As dynamite blasts disrupt the earth, the film presents a found-footage essay on a site marked by history and change. Directed by Kamal Aljafari, UNDR runs for 15 minutes and reflects on the tensions between the ancient and modern in a place shaped by surveillance and intrusion.
