Two World Colliding

Synopsis

In January 2000, Darrell Night, an Indigenous man, was abandoned by two police officers in -20° C temperatures on the outskirts of Saskatoon, Canada. After surviving the ordeal, he learns of the discovery of another Indigenous man's frozen body in the same area, followed by another victim shortly thereafter. Night's decision to come forward initiates a significant investigation by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) into multiple suspicious deaths, leading to the conviction of the officers and the reopening of a judicial inquiry. Directed by Tasha Hubbard, "Two World Colliding" examines systemic issues surrounding Indigenous rights and police accountability.
