Synopsis
Mauro ffortissimo drags an old grand piano onto the bluffs near his seaside home. When county officials order him to stop, he responds by burning the instrument. Twelve Pianos follows ffortissimo's artistic struggle against the constraints of modern society. The film captures the tension between art and authority, illustrating the challenges faced by artists in preserving culture in an increasingly commercialized world. The 63-minute documentary presents a stark portrayal of creativity in conflict with regulation.
