Synopsis
Stefan Knüpfer prepares for a challenging year in Vienna as he works with pianist Pierre-Laurent Aimard on a recording of Bach's The Art of Fugue. Knüpfer chooses concert grand piano Nr. 109 for the session but faces setbacks, including the piano's sale to Australia. The film also features Lang Lang selecting a bench for his performance and Alfred Brendel directing Knüpfer during one of his last concerts.
