Synopsis
Dennis and Julie Parks moved to Tuscarora, Nevada, in the early 1960s. They established a pottery school and raised their family in the small town, which had a population of twelve. In 1989, a mining company began an open pit gold mining operation nearby. As the pit expanded, the town faced destruction. The Parkses and other residents rejected buyout offers and chose to resist the mining company's plans. The film details their fight to preserve their home and their way of life.
