Synopsis

Billy Payne and Billie Jean Hayworth were found murdered on January 31, 2012, in their Mountain City, Tennessee home. During the investigation, one shooter claimed that a rogue CIA agent ordered the hit. Police found no evidence of such an agent. Instead, they discovered that the killers had been catfished by someone posing as a government official. The story is based on prosecutor Dennis Brooks' book, "Too Pretty to Live".
