Synopsis
In a rural community in Mexico, a peasant patriarch's death leaves his daughter and granddaughter grappling with the loss of their family's agricultural legacy. With little farming experience, they attempt to cultivate one last crop to persuade their grandmother to stay connected to their heritage. As they face the difficulties of farming without their father's guidance, they reflect on their family's history and the challenges of maintaining their agricultural roots in a changing environment.
