Time to Leave

Synopsis

Hasan, an 80-year-old man, returns to his wooden house in the Turkish highlands after years in Germany. He brings a cow and calf, marking his reconnection with his roots. His son, Erdoğan, remains in Germany, gravely ill and longing to spend his final days in the comfort of his father's home. As Hasan prepares a room for Erdoğan, he reflects on their strained relationship and his past neglect. The film captures the urgency of their reunion against the backdrop of family and time.
