Synopsis
A man stands on a bridge over the Bosphorus in Istanbul, consumed by despair. A tragic sequence unfolds as he and his infant son leap into the water, followed by the child's mother. Set against the dry regions east of Turkey, Hummadruz presents the emotional struggles of migrants who have left their homeland. Childhood memories clash with the stark realities of displacement in this 1999 documentary directed by Hasan Karacadağ.
