Synopsis
Abou, a migrant from Mali, spends a year in Melilla, a Spanish enclave in northern Morocco, attempting to scale the border fence that separates Africa from Europe. He documents his experiences alongside over a thousand fellow migrants who share his dream of a better life. The film captures their daily struggles and aspirations as they watch the border from the mountains above, revealing the lengths to which they will go in pursuit of their goals.
