On December 7, 1941, the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor propels the United States into World War II. In the Philippines, Corporal Glenn Frazier and Sascha Weinzheimer experience the brutal Japanese offensive as American and Filipino forces retreat to Bataan. Concurrently, the U.S. government forcibly relocates 110,000 Japanese Americans to internment camps along the West Coast. Key battles, including the June 1942 victory at the Battle of Midway and the August confrontation at Guadalcanal, mark significant turning points in the Pacific theater.
