Peter Valusiak stands at the edge of Antarctica, contemplating a crossing over the South Pole. Known internationally for his achievements, he remains largely unrecognized in Slovakia. Valusiak participated in over 20 expeditions to the Polar Regions, including the first unsupported crossing of the Arctic Ocean in 1998 with three Russian explorers. "The Polarman" portrays his solitary struggle to survive in one of the planet's most extreme environments.
