Synopsis

Ibrahim Kadir recalls his time in Aceh, Indonesia, during the 1960s. He faced arrest under a regime responsible for the deaths of an estimated 500,000 to two million suspected communists. Kadir shares his experiences of imprisonment and the impact on society during this violent political climate. His story serves to remember the atrocities committed during this period. Directed by Tonny Trimarsanto, the documentary runs for 90 minutes.
