Synopsis

On her quinceañera, Kelly Díaz Reyes celebrated her 15th birthday with joy. Two years later, she was kidnapped, raped, and killed in Guatemala, a country with a 98% rate of impunity for such crimes. Her cousin, Karin Gramajo, became a lawyer to seek justice for victims. Astrid Elías Macario, who survived her own kidnapping at 14, fled to the United States to escape further danger. Families continue to fight for accountability in a nation grappling with violence.
