Synopsis

Davlat, a Tajik merchandiser and father of three, lives in the Pamir region of Tajikistan, near the border with China. Since the Tajik-Chinese border opened, his life has changed significantly. The reconstruction of the old Silk Road has introduced new opportunities and experiences for Davlat and his family. Directed by Myrto Papadopoulos, the documentary runs for 66 minutes and focuses on this shift in Davlat’s daily life.
