Sahar, a deaf woman, and her eight-year-old son, Yousef, live in a building in Hebron known as "The Mute's House." The building, abandoned by its Palestinian owners, is located in a city divided by conflict. Yousef narrates their daily life, moving between Jewish and Muslim neighborhoods. The documentary, directed by Tamar Kay, premiered at IDFA in November 2015. It later aired on Israel's Channel 8 in January 2017 and participated in over 20 international film festivals.
