Synopsis

Danae Elon recalls her childhood in Jerusalem, where Musa, a Palestinian man, cared for her from infancy. Hired by her parents, Amos and Beth Elon, Musa worked for twenty years while raising his eleven children. Their last meeting in 1991 took place in Battir, where Musa showed Danae his newly built house. After losing contact amid rising tensions in the region, Danae sets out to reconnect with Musa, traveling from New York to Paterson, New Jersey, and back to her birthplace.
