Synopsis
Miyoko Oka, now 94, has dedicated her life to proving her brother Masaru Okunishi's innocence. In 1961, five women died after drinking wine at a gathering in Kuzuo, leading to Okunishi's arrest. Initially acquitted, he was later sentenced to death based on a confession obtained under questionable circumstances, with no physical evidence linking him to the crime. Oka has submitted ten appeals, all denied, as she continues her fight for justice under Japanese law, which restricts retrial requests to close family members.
