Synopsis
In a Hutterite colony in Northeast Alberta, eight families live on seven square miles of land. They follow rules established by Jacob Hutter four centuries ago. Daily life is structured, with men, women, and children eating separately. Leadership is elected, with a preacher guiding spiritual matters and a manager overseeing daily operations. The community values hard work and faith, remaining largely isolated from the outside world. Despite historical persecution, they maintain their beliefs and traditions, moving when necessary to preserve their way of life.
