Jointly directed by filmmakers from Taiwan and China, The Forgotten City details how these housing projects were constructed to serve specific needs. Over time, many of these structures have fallen into ruin. The documentary captures the fate of these once-thriving communities, facing abandonment or demolition. Released in 2013, the film runs for 55 minutes.
