Synopsis
Arn Chorn Pond, a survivor of Cambodia's genocide, works to revive traditional music that the Khmer Rouge targeted from 1975 to 1979. During this period, over 90 percent of the country's traditional musicians were killed. Now, as the few remaining musicians age and face illness, Arn seeks to restore their cultural heritage. He aims to heal the wounds of his past while bringing back the music that once flourished in Cambodia. The film runs for 55 minutes and was released in 2003.
