Synopsis

June lives in Bangkok and works in the city. She converts from Buddhism to Islam after marrying Ake, a Muslim man from southern Thailand. The film follows her transition as she leaves her urban life behind. June learns about Islamic teachings and adapts to the customs of her new home. The documentary, directed by Kaveenipol Ketprasit, runs for 83 minutes and was released in 2008.
