Synopsis

Sommai, a former sex worker from Pattaya, lives in a remote fishing community in northern Denmark. Here, 575 Thai women are married to Danish men-a significant increase from 15 years ago. Sommai and other Thai women are helping her niece Kaeh find a partner during her three-month tourist visa. The film presents the relationships between Danish men and their Thai wives, reflecting their pursuit of respect and social status in Thailand.
