Synopsis
On Christmas Eve 1914, Private Frank Sumpter and his fellow Allied soldiers hear German troops singing "Silent Night" from their trenches. Intrigued, they join in, leading to an unexpected ceasefire. Soldiers from both sides cautiously emerge from their positions, exchanging greetings and shaking hands across No Man's Land. Despite the risk of court martial, they share moments of camaraderie, reflecting on their shared suffering.
