Synopsis

A child climbs a narrow chimney in 19th century Europe. As the child ascends, a chimney swift bird enters the same chimney to build a nest. Both face choices that alter their lives. The child confronts a loss of innocence. The bird acts on instinct. Their paths become irreversible, illustrating the themes of entrapment and fate in their respective lives. Directed by Rebecca Blöcher, the documentary runs for five minutes.
