Synopsis
David Ocitti was a boy when rebels attacked his village. He became a soldier in their army. After a narrow escape, he returned home. Instead of a warm welcome, his family ostracized him. David then chose to embrace the men who hurt him and his family. He helps them find a new path in life. Directed by Chad Clendinen, "The Bitter Root" runs for 20 minutes and was released in 2022.
