Synopsis

Jim Tom crafts a copper still at his creek-side camp in the mountains of North Carolina. In a dry county filled with scrutiny, he quietly produces moonshine. Filmmaker Kelly L. Riley captures this clandestine operation while Jerry Jumper and William Bird recount tales of the Cherokee's spirit allies, known as "the little people," who inhabit the nearby woods and streams. As a sequel to the short documentary "Moonshine," "Still Making Moonshine" presents a narrative of lost traditions and hidden spirits.
