Synopsis

Maider, a filmmaker, moves into a flat in Donostia-San Sebastián, Basque Country, Spain, in 2011. This location was once the site of the first ikastola, a Basque school, founded by educator Elbira Zipitria Irastorza during Francisco Franco's regime. Zipitria's work spanned thirty years, yet her contributions remain largely unknown. Intrigued by her story, Maider begins to research the history of the ikastola and its impact on Basque education.
